Autobiographical Programming Sketch

I first started programming at around age 7-8, when a relative of mine introduced me to CodeAcademy, and I learned some basic Python and Java. Afterwards, I enrolled in some programming courses in my Chinese school, which taught me more about basic web programming and JavaScript. After I began to slowly phase out taking classes, most of my programming experience came from competitions and some online courses, such as the American Computer Science League, and Udemy, respectively. Through other programs, such as Hackerrank, I also was able to work on programming skills, both with friends and school, and on my own at home. I haven’t worked on any major projects before I came to SHODOR, and mostly worked on small, isolated programs for competitions or just for fun.
