These are my expierences with math and science
I have the most experience with math.I am currently in the seventh grade, but I take ninth grade algebra.The majority of the time it comes easily but it can get rather challenging being the youngest in class.I take normal seventh grade science with the acception of the learner enrichment program I am enrolled in.Over the past summer I went to a robot research camp at UNC and it taught me alot about the combination of math and science as one.
The first thing I learned at shodor!
Being a new apprentice to shodor I didn't know what to expect! The first thing I remember is the dress code because I am very fashion forward.While formating my new website I discovered some simple codes and techniques.When you add a forward slash after the less than sign you close or end that part of the file.Over all I learned alot, but gaining the knowledge that I don't know everything helped me out the most
What shodor has taught me thus far:
Class2- This is my second apprentership class and I am loving it. We have just been taught how to use gimpshop and inkscape. Gimpshop is more effective when used to minipulate pictures or to restore them. Inkscape allows you to create custom images and graphics.
Class3- This week in class we were taught how to construct our own webpage using html! At first I was very confused but when Mr.Ernest told us when and where to use the tab key it was easier to understand. My first design was very boring and had no color or efficient links. After a few changes and guidance I got a pretty nice product.Due to a prior event that I had planed I had to leave class early so I wasn't able to complete my improved web design.
Class4- It is my fourth visit to apprentership class and I am finally getting the hang of it. We learned how to add color and complexity to our webpages using the css code. Css is very easy to use as long as you keep it organized and be sure to close each part. Just by adding color and headings to it made it so much beter and more professional looking. Over all I got the concept off web designing and the importance of staying organized!
Class5- Today i thought we were going to learn some basic skills about html and css, but I was way off. We ended learning how to complete very complex and difficult task! Like how to use (div) which I still dont quite understand. Now I feel more accomplished as an appreantice, the first module is almost over and I have something to show for it.
