Vanessa's webpage

Hello! My name is Vanessa Buna Joyner and I want to welcome you to my webpage.

I am 13 years old and am going to the eighth grade. I live with my mom, dad, and an older and younger sister. I have been shadowing here at Shodor for the past week while in a program called Youth Looking at the Future Today, otherwise known as YLFT. For all of those seventh graders who are interested in enrolling in YLFT but don't know what kind of occupation to chose I would recommend Shodor. It is the best place to go to learn about how much the informaton on the internet affects the public.

YLFT is a program that lets students shadow job sites for a week. It is very fun and interesting to go out everyday and watch people working at their occupations and learning and getting the opportunity to decide if that is what you want to do when you grow up.

Shodor is a non-profit organization that runs by calling up big business companies and asking them what kinds of problems that they are having. Then they go on the internet and search for the answer. When they find the answer they call the companies back up and then they get paid.
