Tyler Meredith's Web Page

Hello! Welcome to my web page. I am a 13 years old in Durham, North Carolina. I attend Carrington Middle School. I am a Duke fan, but my favorite color is green. I am also a Boy Scout in Troop 412. The troop meets at Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church every Monday. I sometimes scuba dive with my dad.

The week of July 11th through July 16th I was involved in a program called YLFT (Youth Looking at the Future Today). At this program students visit job sites and shadow an employee. I went to The Shodor Education Foundation. This is a non-profit company that teaches mathmatics and science through the use of models and simulations on computers. This is where I learned HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). This is a computer language used to write web pages (I used this language to write this web page). I have had a lot of FUN this week working with computers. I think I will come back next summer as a intern. During the week I worked on some web pages for Shodor. They were Durham Mayor's Comittee for Persons with Disabilities and Student Science Enrichment Program.
