Hi! My name is Jit. I got to do this page thanx to The Shodor Education Foundation and the Youth Looking at the Future Today (YLFT) summer camp. YLFT is a summer camp where you get to work at a job site to see if you are intrested in it. You are asked (in an interview) what are your job intrests for the future. They choose where you get to work based on that. The camp is for students going into eighth grade. It is a school/work week long. I got to work at Shodor. The people there work to hard for there own good. They work all day long. Some jobs will have a lot of students working and other jobs will only have one. At my job there is one other student from the program. At Shodor I did computer programming. I also got to make this site.
I go to Lowe's Grove Middle School (LGMS) in Durham, North Carolina. I am an A honorole student. I am in band at LGMS. I play percussion. If you don't know what percussion is, it's all the fun stuff. I get to play drums, mallets, and other neat little insturments. I play sports all year. In fall I play soccer, in winter I wrestle, and in spring I either do track and field, play baseball, or help manage the girl's soccer team.
In summer I go to the pool a lot. I usually attened a camp or two. Summer is the only time I don't play sports.
