The Youth Looking at the Future Today (YLFT) program is designed to allow rising 8th graders to experience many different careers. This program, created by the Durham Public Schools System in 1992, helps students acquire knowledge about these various careers. The Shodor Education Foundation, Inc. has been a part of the YLFT program since 1996. All of the YLFT participants who have visited the Shodor Foundation learn what it takes to work with computers while enjoying their experience. The Youth Looking at the Future Today program continues to be a success and increases in growth each year.
