Calculating orbital speeds
intro
 ASL | Rocket scientists need to know the speed of objects in space. If they want to land on the moon they need to know how fast the moon is moving. Part of the problem is that the moon's speed changes from day to day. By using your algebra and geometry skills, you can perform the calculation needed to find the moon's fastest and slowest speeds. |
