Today was the last day of the Modeling Your World workshop. The students had already started on their models, but today they fine-tuned and finished them. Levi taught them how to make their model complete and account for several individual variables that each programmed into his or her model. After finishing them up, each student then presented their model to the class. Everyone came up one at a time to speak in the front of the room with their model projected behind them. Students were able to develop their speaking and presentation abilities in a more relaxed atmosphere, which seemed to help many of the quieter students. Levi would ask them questions about their model, and each was able to use the prompt to give an in-depth description about the simulation they created. Everyone was confident in their model and the skills they learned over the course of the week.
