Initially, Phil led the students through a brief review of the previous day's topics with a heavy emphasis on functions. After, John taught the students about objects and how an object can have various functions and variables assigned to it. They also learned how to run a function or to fetch a variable that had been assigned to a particular object. Next they were taught how objects could be used in code to make code not only more readable but more readily changed.

Many of the students initially had issues with the concept of programming objects and so after break John provided more examples of how to conceptualize objects in a useful way that the students could understand. After this, the Dice Roller project was shown to the students in preparation for Friday.
