In this class, the students worked on learning more aspects of HTML and CSS while continuing to build their websites in the process. The class started by learning the definition of Cascading Styles Sheets, abbreviated as CSS, as well as the full spectrum of its functions including internal, external, inline, and default CSS. This extra form of code helps web developers by giving them the ability to edit the layout of a document rather than following the standard format set by your internet browser. The students also focused on adding more functionality to their own personal websites by integrating images and videos relating to who they are as individuals. By learning how to navigate through different pages, some students moved on to use certain elements of PHP, a different computing language, and developed their own navigation bars at the top of their web pages. At the end of the session, students were given the opportunity to present their individual pages to the group and highlight their own personal accomplishments from throughout the course.
