Jennifer started the class by reviewing everything that the students had learned throughout the week. The main lesson they learned was the use of computational science for communication. They went over the terms they learned as well as the functions that they learned to use in terminal, a command-line application used to access files in a computer. After, they did an activity with the disease model in which each student had different percentages of the hygiene parameter and they had to run it 15 times while recording the number of people that died each time. The importance of gathering more data is to be able to get closer to a more realistic scenario with the models.

Going back to BCCD, the class made four clusters out of the computers using the CDs that each of them received. When they had four functioning clusters going, the students went to break. Afterwards, Aaron began going over the commands for booting programs from USBs to the computers. He gave each group a flashdrive and asked one of the students in each group to boot it into the computer. They started talking about a program called "Pandemic" that simulates a disease that goes widespread. Aaron went over the steps for setting it up and let the students experiment with it. They compared and contrasted it to the disease models that they had learned about earlier in the week. Aaron had the students try using multiple nodes to run the program with a large amount of people without having the program slow down.
