Today the workshop students were learning Java. They had to program a sickness/infection rate model in Java. Each individual agent had to be programmed to react differently and become immune. It was a great opportunity for the workshop students to learn Java, as well as how to work together. After learning about the basic tools and ways of debugging a program, the students had a fully-functioning end product.
