Using everything that the class learned during the week, Ismael challenged the students to create a 3 page website that included information about themselves. He first reviewed the website expectations such as clarity, cleanliness, and simplicity in the site that will make it more appealing.
The workshop spent the first 15 minutes thinking about designs, either by drawing them or by using Inkscape (a graphics program). Many of them had questions during the design process and Ismael made sure all of them were answered. After the students were satisfied with their design, they started using HTML, and CSS to code their websites. Throughout this class, the students were very excited to learn and make their own personal website. This class allowed them the freedom to think of and express their thoughts through their very own pages.
