The SSP workshop began promptly at 9am on Thursday, June 25th. There were only six workshop participants in attendance today due to several absences. The participants started off by discussing certain variables they would need to manipulate in order to insure success for their models. Both groups made a model that showed how animals would react if they escaped within a zoo. The model used Agents such as monkeys, humans and various other animals. They then proceeded to take a class on proper presentation form. They learned to not contrast colors, include irrelevant pictures, or be very wordy.

After lunch, the workshop students continued working on their group projects. Both groups made significant progress on their AgentSheets codes and managed to finish with the coding aspect. They then began work on their presentations by developing powerpoints to guide their presentations. The students implemented the skills they learned that morning to make their presentations really good. Their presentations showed all of the work they had done on their projects and explained exactly who had done what in the group project. Knowing that they would have several hours the following day to practice most groups did not finish their presentation today.
