Modeling your world At the beginning of the day Ross got to know the students by playing a game. Each student took a card from a deck and had to tell that much stuff about them self to the class. After that activity Ross explained an application called VenSim, a modeling tool. The students started a model in VenSim with, Ross leading them, on infectious diseases. Throughout the day the students learned more about VenSim and continued making their models. In pairs they worked to find out how infectious diseases work and how they can spread to many others. At the end of the day the students did their reflections.
