The day began with Cornelia teaching the class the basics about STELLA modeling software. She then went on to help the class model the pharmacokinetics of aspirin. The students spent all morning doing this. Students gained an understanding of the pharmacokinetics of aspirin.

After lunch Kirstin taught the Windkessel model of the heart using STELLA. They modeled the effects that the heart had on the rest of the body. Students modeled the rate at which the heart beats and how that rate affects the body as well.
