The Case of The Missing Laptop:
The culmination of the forensic workshop is a mystery in which the students play the key roles in a crime scene investigation and trial. Students have such roles as crime scene investigator, detective, attorney, and so on. They must obtain the appropriate evidence to arrest and convict a suspect.
In this investigation the students are trying to figure out who took Monte's laptop. The students began this case today and will complete the case on Friday. Today the students prepared for the trial by locating the crimescene, searching for evidence, and interviewing people in the office (witnesses, the victim and suspects). The students also searched the office, performed expirements, and searched the crime scene for clues. Later on in the day Renee was found dead (only part of the fabricated case) in the kitchen, after drinking a cup of poisoned drinking water. Students spent time searching for Renee's connection to the case.
On Friday the students will hold the trial.
