The Spring Break workshops are two full day intensive sessions that will introduce rising 6th - 8th graders to such topics as Web design, Math Explorations, Programming, and Computer Simulations. In this two day workshop, students will build interactive simulations and study the math that makes them work. Students will apply math and science concepts to create dynamic models of real life phenomenon. Students will also study graphics and visualization and create "logos" that they will then incorporate into their very own websites. Specifically, students will learn probability, algebraic thinking, computational modeling, graphics, and basic html and css.
