Aside from having applications in mathematics, there are also many examples of fractals in everyday life. This section will introduce some of the applications of fractals and continue to familiarize students with the properties of fractals.
The next section, entitled More on Sierpinski shows a connection between Sierpinski's and Pascal's Triangles.
The final activity in this section is the Flake Maker . The generator of a fractal greatly affects how the fractal will look, therefore, small changes to the generator will have a larger and larger effect on each iteration.
