This year-round program provides student science research colloquies on subjects such as the Science of Sports, Global Change, and Imaging in Science. The program targets high-achieving high school students in order to nurture their interest in science research and to introduce them to science as a vital, interdisciplinary activity. The colloquies will be enhanced and extended to locations across the state that will attract students from rural areas and groups under-represented in science through the delivery of an interactive video colloquy with the Education Future Center TV network and two-week summer colloquies at regional Science House offices in Lenoir and Edenton. The Science House will continue to hold one colloquy each fall and the summer Science of Sports camp at NC State.
