If I Only Had a Cray

Tune: If I Only Had a Brain ( from Wizard of Oz)

I could while away the hours
Raisin' x to higher powers
I'd sum sums all the day
On my lunch I could be munchin'
While my numbahs would be crunchin'
If I only had a Cray

I could mastah my compunction
To integrate some function
Wit' bound'ries Dirichlet
My heart would go pitter pattah
As I simulated mattah
If I only had a Cray.

Oh, I'd use MPI for memory far from the core.
I'd compute things I never did before,
And recompile, and run some more.

I could use a simple vectah,
To represent a sectah
Of a function or array,
Rows of lights you'll get a blinkin'
In the cornfields, land o' Lincoln,
Yes, we really have a Cray!
