Agent Sheets First-Order Chemical Kinetics Model

Background

Agent Sheets First Order Chemical Kinetics Applet

This applet simulates the chemical interconversion of particles between different types, represented by color. The green circles on the blue background below represent chemical species A (B is blue, C is red, D is yellow). When the model is run these particles will diffuse around and convert to other types of particles according to the chances that can be adjusted in the simulation properties editor (AtoB, BtoC, ...). By default, Agent Sheets uses "percent chance", not probability, for random processes. So enter values as percentages, not as decimal fractions. All of these reactions are spontaneous (first-order), with distinct chances for forward and reverse reactions. Counts of each particle type are plotted as the model runs.
