Wind speed effect on Ozone Concentration - Calculator

Directions:

This calculator is a mathematical model of the schematic shown at right. To use this model, provide values for:

  • C0: initial concentration (in some units, such as parts per billion) on the upward side of the modeling area
  • H: the height of the mixing layer, in units of meters (m)
  • L: the length of the modeling area (west to east, in meters)
  • Q: the source emission rate of the pollutant (in the same units as initial concentration
  • U: the wind speed in units of meters per second
