Standard Atmosphere Computations

Directions: use this calculator to determine values of temperature, pressure, and density for values between 0 and 10,000 m in altitude. For example, if you wish to determine these values for an altitude of 5,200 m, type that value into the "Altitude" form box and hit the "Evaluate" button. Temperature, pressure, and density will be reported in the appropriate boxes. Note that the results for pressure and density are linear approximations with only 97% accuracy, while the temperature results are close to 100% accurate.

Note: this form uses JavaScript to compute properties related to the 1976 standard atmosphere up to 230,000 ft.
