Purpose: Mole Calculator I determines the quantity of gram moles and pound moles of a substance. Mole Calculator I can be used for a small set of compounds commonly encountered in the field of air pollution. This calculator automatically inputs the molecular weights of the compounds found in the "pick list." For compounds not included in Mole Calculator I's list, please use Mole Calculator II. Mole Calculator II requires you to know the molecular weights of the compounds.

General Information:

1. Sometimes calculator output is provided in exponential format in base ten as shown below.
   5.2e003 = 5.2 × 10³
   5.2e-003 = 5.2 × 10^-3

2. Inputting non-numeric characters such as commas and percent signs with numbers will result in erroneous output. (Decimal points are fine to use.)
