Purpose:The Energy Balance Calculator solves for the equilibrium solution of the surface temperature of the Earth by integrating the absorption of solar radiation and emission of blackbody radiation. Atmospheric effects are neglected, and the Earth is assumed to be a perfect absorber and a perfect blackbody.

General Information:

1. Set the initial value of the surface temperature in Kelvins.
2. Set the distance from the sun as a fraction of the true value.
