Air Resistance Calculator
Purpose: The air resistance calculator models the height of a dropped object with or without air resistance
Restrictions on Use: None
General Information:
- The height sliderbar sets the initial value of the position of the dropped object.
- The velocity sliderbar sets the initial value of the velocity of the dropped object.
- The gravity sliderbar sets the acceleration due to gravity.
- The drag factor sliderbar sets the value of the drag resistance, which provides a force of the drag factor times the velocity squared in a direction opposite the velocity.
- The mass sliderbar changes the mass of the object. Notice the difference in whether mass affects the outcome dependant on if there is drag or not.
