What will I learn in this unit?
The final unit in this module looks at the smallest scale of motion, the microscale, in which we look at weather events with a size of less than a few meters and that occur in a very short period of time. In this unit, these topics are presented:

  1. thermal turbulence
  2. mechanical turbulence
  3. flow obstructions and wakes
  4. street canyons
  5. rotors
  6. grids and time zones
