Interactivate's Java activities now use .jar files so the user only loads a single file
as opposed two or more class files for each activity. This change was necessitated because of
Sun's newest versio of Java (1.5) which caused the applets not to load due to a caching
problem with the class files. Note however that a JavaScript embedded in each activity's
index page detects the user's browser and will load the class files for our Mac OS9 users. Mac OS9
does not support the use of .jar files. |
