MathScape is a middle school mathematics program that teaches concepts through real world simulations and models. Each book is divided into seven units which focuses on a particular mathematics area through a particular application. Each unit is further divided into "Phases" which explores a particular concept of the area in focus through a case study. There are three books in this series which many systems use for grades six through eight in order to prepare their students for algebra and other higher mathematics courses.
