    • Independent investigations are encouraged.

    • The unit includes strategies to stimulate creativity.
    • Learners are directed to generalize, to draw conclusions, and to apply these to new experiences.
    • The unit activities encourage learners to analyze problems and to generate multiple solutions.
    • Icons, navigational commands and other prompts are easy to use, consistent, and offer options for subsequent choices at each step.
    • Learners can review content and correct responses at will.
    • Learners can click on key terms to see a definition.
    • Unit modules allow the selection of concepts and the sequencing of the presentation.
