Lesson Development: Expectations of Content

Your unit/lessons should contain the following elements:

• Abstract
• Objectives
• Alignment to NC SCoS Math Standards
• Alignment to NC SCoS Technology Standards
• Be written clearly and thoughtfully
• Listing of resources needed including hardware, websites, software, internet access, etc.
• Listing of prerequisite skills
• Creation and / or listing of supplemental materials for use by students such as graph paper, record sheets, worksheets, etc.
• Step by step walk through of activities in the lesson and estimated time spent on each activity
• Integrate the Function Flyer, Slope Slider, and / or Data Flyer tools into the unit
• Explanation of when these lessons / unit would be appropriately used in your class
