- joint probability
- The probability of event A and event B happening at the same time is expressed as
P(A & B). For independent events A and B, P(A & B)=P(A)P(B). P(A & B) is also known as the
probability of intersection of events A and B, from the Venn diagram description.
- Julia set
- The set of all the points for a
function of the form Z^2+C. The iterations
will approach zero, approach infinity, or get trapped
(cf Prisoners and Escapees -- Julia Sets Discussion).
