This activity allows you to run up to three different games of chance at once, allowing for comparison of experimental and theoretical probabilities.
Theoretical probability is the ratio of the number of outcomes in the event to the total number of outcomes in the sample space. Theoretical probability is refered to in the text as "Probability of an Event."
Experimental probability is the ratio of the number of actual outcomes in the event to the total number of trials run.*

The applet runs several games of chance based upon your input of the theoretical probability of winning. The applet runs the specified number of trials and then outputs the experimental probability based on your theoretical probability input. As you changes the number of trials you can see how the number of trials affects the experimental probability.
