Ratios and Proportions

A recipe for shortbread cookies calls for 1/2 cup of butter, 2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. This makes 12 cookies. Convert this recipe to one that would make 100 cookies.

(A): 5 cups butter, 20 cups flour, 5 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoons vanilla
(B): 4.17 cups butter, 16.67 cups flour, 4.17 teaspoons salt, 8.33 teaspoons vanilla
(C): 240 cups butter, 600 cups flour, 240 teaspoons salt, 480 teaspoons vanilla
(D): 16.67 cups butter, 66.68 cups flour, 16.67 teaspoons salt, 33.34 teaspoons vanilla
